What is Aeration?

  • Is the process of removing soil plugs 3-4 inches deep to stimulate your lawn
  • Soil plugs lay on your lawn and break down providing beneficial nutrients back to it or your lawn
  • Breaks up the soil compaction from heavy foot traffic, vehicles, etc.
  • Aeration and overseeding are the two most important aspects a client can have done to ensure a healthier, weed free, greener lawn

Benefits of Aeration

  • Better water and nutrient absorption
  • Helps in the process of eliminating thatch
  • Stimulates root growth
  • Reduces soil compaction

  • Why Overseeding is important
  • Introduces newer and better seed cultivars
  • Repairs dead or unpleasant areas
  • Grasses that prefer your growing conditions

How we overseed

  • We recommend overseeding in the fall or early spring before weeds start to germinate, while temperatures are cool and rain fall is plentiful.
  • We aerate your  lawn before we place seed down
  • We use a blend of grass seeds best suited for your lawn ensuring seed germination
